First of all, on passing your driving test.

You are now legally allowed to drive on all types of road, including motorways, at night, in all types of weather, completely on your own.

It's possible you didn't cover most of these different types of conditions during your driving lessons. You certainly won't have driven on a motorway.

Pass Plus is a course of lessons designed to allow you to gain experience of motorways, night driving, out of town and rural driving, busy town centres, dual carriageways, and all weather driving (where possible). The course lasts for a minimum of six lessons, and there is no test at the end, just the instructor's assessment of whether you can handle these different types of conditions.

The added bonus is that many insurance companies will offer substantial savings for anyone producing a Pass Plus certificate, and in many cases the cost of the course can be recovered.
